Submission Guidelines for Manuscripts in English
Journal of Classical, Medieval, and Renaissance English Literature welcomes submissions of original articles on medieval and early modern English literature, history, and culture. Also welcome are articles on medieval and early modern reception of classical literature and on modern/postmodern reception and adaptations of medieval and early modern literature.
1.Manuscripts should be submitted online through the Journal and Article Management System(JAMS) at jmejmes.jams.or.kr. Authors from outside Korea may submit their manuscripts directly to the Editorial Board at jmemes. editorialboard@gmail.com if they have difficulty using the JAMS.
2.The author’s name should not appear in the manuscript. In case the manuscript is emailed to the Editorial Board, information about the author—name, affiliation, email address, phone number, etc. —should be provided in a separate coversheet, along with the title of the manuscript.
3.Manuscripts in English should be submitted in Word (.doc or .docx) format. Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the eighth edition of the MLA Handbook. A guide on the MLA style is available online at the MLA Style Center (style.mla.org). Footnotes are preferred to endnotes.
4.Manuscripts must be accompanied by an abstract of up to 150 words and a list of up to 5 keywords. Proper nouns included in the manuscript title should not be listed as keywords.
5.Manuscripts should not exceed 7,000 words in length. The word count includes footnotes but excludes the list of works cited, the abstract, and the keywords.
6.All non-English quotations should be translated into English. The original quotation should immediately follow the translation and be enclosed in a parenthesis. The parenthesis is not necessary if the translation and the original quotation are set off from the text and presented as separate paragraphs.
7.The copyright of all articles published in Journal of Classical, Medieval, and Renaissance English Literature belongs to Korea Association of Classical, Medieval, and Renaissance English Literature.

『한국고전중세르네상스영문학』은 중세 및 근세 영국 문학·역사·문화에 관한 논문의 투고를 환영합니다. 중세 및 근세의 고전 문학 수용, 중세·근세 문학의 근현대적 수용과 개작에 관한 논문 또한 환영합니다.
1.투고는 온라인 학술지 및 논문 관리 시스템(JAMS, jmemes.jams.or.kr)을 통해서 해주시기 바랍니다.
2.필자 이름이 원고에 나오지 않게 해주십시오. 필자에 관한 정보는 온라인 학술지 및 논문 관리 시스템에 입력하시기 바랍니다.
3.한글 원고는 한컴 한글(.hwp) 포맷으로 MLA Handbook 8판에 따라서 작성해주십시오. 새 MLA 스타일에 익숙지 않은 분은 MLA 스타일 센터(style.mla.org)에서 제공하는 온라인 안내를 참조하시기 바랍니다. 한글 문헌 인용 방법은 『고전중세르네상스영문학』 최근호에 실린 논문들을 참조하십시오. 미주 대신에 각주를 사용하시기 바랍니다.
4.원고에 영문 제목과 150단어 이내의 영문 초록, 5개 이내의 주제어를 포함해주십시오. 주제어는 한글과 영문 버전으로 각각 만들어주시기 바랍니다. 원고 제목에 포함된 고유명사는 주제어에서 제외해주십시오.
5.한글 원고는 각주를 포함해서 35,000자(공백 포함) 이내로 해주십시오. 인용 문헌과 영문 초록, 주제어는 자수 계산에서 제외됩니다.
6.모든 외국어 인용문은 우리말로 옮겨주시기 바랍니다. 원문은 번역문 바로 뒤 괄호 안에 적어 주십시오. 번역문과 원문이 각각 독립된 문단으로 제시될 경우에는 괄호가 필요하지 않습니다. 원고 제목과 소제목에는 외국어 원문을 병기하지 마십시오.
7.『고전중세르네상스영문학』에 실린 모든 논문의 저작권은 『한국고전중세르네상스영문학회』 에 귀속됩니다.
